career, Boo has traveled the fashion markets of Europe and Asia. Her keen fashion sense, coupled with
her sales and manufacturing background, have allowed her the opportunity to create a stylish lifestyle

Boo Thayer Gemes grew up outside of Philadelphia. Her fun, timeless fashion is inspired by her
early years playing sports and riding horses in the country. "I love to conjure up favorite memories. One
memory that best typifies my fashion aesthetic is that of the summers I spent working at the Saratoga
race track. This was the best of all worlds for me! I loved the early mornings. I loved the excitement and
glamour. We were at the barn by 5:30am, exercising on the track by 6, showered and dressed for the races by 2:00. Some days we would allow time for tennis or water skiing. We would often finish off the
day with a dinner or black tie event at night..."
I design clothes for real people, clothes that I want to own and wear. Like many people, there
are days you want to dress up and there are other days you don't get out of your jeans!
A favorite in the collection are the great fitting jeans and pants. You can pair the jeans and pants
with a fun duster or sexy sequin top...Another staple, tunics and dresses, always feature an element of

Boo is a married mother of two teenage daughters. Her husband, Ken Gemes, owns Edwin
Gemes Ltd., a successful interior design business, based in Bronxville, New York. Boo manages to
balance the fast paced world of running her fashion brand, while equally enjoying busy days of watching
her girls play sports, playing sports herself and entertaining with friends.
